Live-In Care

What is Live-In Care?
Live-In Care is for those who need 24-hour support but wish to stay at home rather than move into a residential home. Serenity Always provides a tailored service to suit the requirements of the individual receiving care and their family.
The Different Forms of Live-In Care
Live-In Care is available in the following formats, and each service is tailored to suit you and your specific needs:

  • Basic Live-In Care
  • Personal Live-In Care
  • Specialised Live-In Care
  • Nursing Live-In Care

Basic Live-In Care
Basic Live-In Care is for those who do not require any Personal Care assistance.
Ideal for a client that does not require help getting dressed, using the bathroom or medication assistance, this Live-In Care service is tailored more for those who are looking for companionship, assistance with meals, security, cleaning, shopping and other household duties. The Basic Live-In Care package is ideal for those operating on a limited budget.

Personal Live-In Care
The Personal Live-In Care package includes everything that the basic package has to offer. In addition, it offers all the Personal Care services that an individual requires, including dressing/undressing the client, support using the toilet and assistance with personal hygiene.

Specialised Live-In Care
The Specialised Live-In Care package provided is the most premium service and includes everything that the Basic and Personal packages have to offer, but has the added benefit of specially-trained staff that are qualified to deal with your particular condition should you have one.
All of our staff are impeccably trained, but some conditions require additional training which we are proud to provide.

Nursing Live-In Care
There is an increasing trend of people choosing to live at home rather than moving into a nursing home. The UK Government is supporting this trend and so is Serenity Always. With our Nursing Live-In Care service, we are able to
provide non-specialist and specialist nursing support in the home.
Our team of highly trained and conscientious nurses are ready to support you in the comforts of your own home.

How does it work?

After making an enquiry, Serenity Always will send out a detailed information pack. Upon your request, a member of our friendly and caring team will visit to discuss our Live-In Care services.

During this visit we will create a Care Plan, a document that details your needs, wishes and desired outcomes from Serenity Always. In addition, we will discuss the qualities of the carer you are looking for – their skills, personality and any other personal preferences. All this information will be compiled and presented in a clear and concise plan.

Once a plan has been established, Serenity Always will use a specific matching system to find any suitable carers from your criteria. If we discover a companion that meets your requirements we can start your Live-In Care whenever you require! Don’t worry, our carers are fully qualified, have completed thorough employment checks and a DBS check.

If we do not find a match from our existing work force, Serenity Always will endeavour to recruit someone that meets your individual criteria.

After shortlisting candidates, we will provide you with their details so that you can make an informed decision on your Live-In carer. You have our full support during this phase and we are always on hand for any further information or queries that you may have. Once you have chosen a Live-In carer, we will offer them a position with Serenity Always and upon accepting the position, we will conduct our thorough employment checks. Serenity Always we will manage their salary and all the other necessary employer responsibilities, leaving you to relax.
